Applications have been invited by Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore for admission to BS Programme having the following major disciplines:

1.  Biology
2.  Chemistry
3.  Environmental Science
4.  Materials
5.  Mathematics
6.   Physics

Eligibility:
Candidates who have completed their II PUC / 12th Standard in 2013 and those who are expecting to complete their II PUC / 12th Standard in 2014 are eligible to apply. The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects during their II PUC / 12th Standard. Candidates who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science, etc., in addition to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are also eligible to apply. The candidates must have secured a first class or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the II PUC / 12th Standard examination.

How to Apply:
To apply for admission to the Undergraduate Programme in the 2014-15 session, eligible candidates should complete the following tasks:
Filling the Application Form, available only online at 
http://admissions.iisc.ernet.in/web/Login.aspx
The online application may be prepared and submitted by accessing the IISc websitehttp://www.iisc.ernet.in/ug 
The online application must be submitted on or before 30.04.2014. 
The application fee is Rs. 400/- for GN/OBC/KM candidates and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH categories.
